Bristol City is in advanced talks regarding a potential investment into the club. According to Sky Sports, the Robins could be set for a significant investment from an unnamed businessman. The Championship side have been up for sale for quite some time, with owner Steven Lansdown making it clear that he would cash in for the right price.

The Lansdown family have been in charge of the Bristol outfit since 1996, but he is now closing in on selling a majority of his shares in the club. Bristol City reached the play-offs as recently as 2025, but were unable to earn promotion to the Premier League.
