Bristol City are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool's Kieran Morrison on loan for the upcoming season. The 19-year-old winger has impressed during pre-season, scoring his first goal for the Reds' senior team in a friendly against Sunderland. He has also started against Leeds a week later, catching the eye of several clubs, including Bristol City and Wolfsburg. Michael Skubala is keen to add more depth to his forward line as the Robins aim to stage another Championship play-off push. Morrison has scored regularly at several youth levels for the Reds, with 14 strikes in 19 Premier League 2 appearances for their under-21s last season. He made his senior Liverpool debut in October 2025 during their Carabao Cup defeat to Crystal Palace, and made another first-team appearance in a March FA Cup win against Wolves. The Robins will feel that they can offer him regular minutes in one of the most competitive leagues in the world. However, sources have revealed that Eredivisie side Groningen are also keen on Morrison as it stands. League standing (final 2025 table -- new season not yet under way): 10th in Championship, 58 pts, 16W-10D-16L from 42 games, recent form DWWLD. Goals this season: 52 scored, 51 conceded (+1 goal difference). Title race: 28 points behind leaders Coventry. Next fixture: vs Charlton (at home, 2027-02-27) (18th in the table).
