What attracted Yah to Bristol City?
Yah started his career in the Ajax youth academy and joined Utrecht in 2022 before moving to Volendam last summer. He made 26 appearances as the club were relegated from the Eredivisie.
What does the signing mean for Bristol City?
New manager Michael Skubala said: "We're really pleased to bring Gibson to Bristol City. He's an exciting young player with a lot physical and technical attributes that we look for and we are excited to work with him." Yah told City's website: "I'm here to show them what I can do. I don't like to speak words, so I prefer to show it on the pitch and I will do my best for the club and for the team to make sure I succeed."
