Bristol City president Marina Dolman was honoured with a special gold legacy cap in a presentation before the club's Championship match against Portsmouth. Owners Steve Lansdown and Maggie Lansdown made the presentation to thank Dolman for her unwavering support over close to 60 years.

Marina Dolman has been involved with Bristol City for nearly six decades. She took over the presidency from her husband, Harry Dolman, following his death in 1977. Her long-standing commitment to the club was formally recognised in 2017 when she was awarded an MBE by the Queen for her services to football. This latest honour continues a legacy of recognition for her dedication.

The presentation occurred ahead of kick-off at Ashton Gate before Bristol City faced Portsmouth. Sporting Director James Ellis was present for the occasion. Steve Lansdown and Maggie Lansdown presented the distinctive gold legacy cap to Dolman directly on the pitch. The gesture was a public acknowledgement of her immense contribution spanning generations of the club's history.

The ceremony took place as Bristol City prepare for their next Championship fixture away to Preston on September 1st. The club finished 12th in the final 2025 table with 62 points from 46 games, recording 17 wins, 11 draws and 18 losses. Their recent form was WLDLD.

Bristol City ended the 2025 campaign with 59 goals scored and 59 conceded, resulting in a zero goal difference. They finished 33 points behind league leaders Coventry City. The team now looks ahead to the new season, aiming to build on a mid-table finish. Current squad details are available on our squad page, while the latest league standings provide ongoing context.
