Bristol City are poised to appoint former Notts County and Forest Green boss Ian Burchnall as Michael Skubala's assistant manager. This move comes as the Robins look to finalize their backroom team following Skubala's arrival last month. Skubala, who previously guided Lincoln City to the League One title, is keen to build a strong support staff at Ashton Gate. In addition to Burchnall, Bristol City is also pursuing QPR first-team coach Steve Bould to join the coaching ranks. Burchnall has an extensive coaching background, having worked with various clubs including Aberdeen and Wolves. His experience in different leagues, including Scandinavia, adds valuable depth to Bristol City's coaching setup. The club is making these changes as they aim to improve their performance in the Championship and compete effectively in the upcoming season.
