Bristol City have announced a long-term extension to their partnership with kit manufacturers O'Neills. The deal will see the company continue to provide playing, training, and travel wear for the Robins. The partnership has been successful, with record-setting replica shirt sales and a wider range of sizing options than any other club in England's second tier. The Reds and Ireland's largest sportswear manufacturer first partnered in February 2023, when O'Neill's produced kits for City midway through the 2022/23 campaign, after the club's agreement with Hummel came to a premature end after just two and a half seasons. While O'Neill's have been making the Robins kits, the club has seen record-setting replica shirt sales in each of the first three full seasons of the partnership. The partnership hasn't been without its occasional hiccups. Last term, City published a statement in mid-August ahead of their first home league game of the season - against Charlton Athletic - where they had to apologise for the limited stock of home shirts, while the away kit wasn't available for purchase until the end of that same month. Some fans were quick to criticise the manufacturer, assuming that the blame for such issues lay at their door. In an interview with Bristol Live at the time, however, former Reds CEO Tom Rawcliffe insisted he was confident that such problems wouldn't occur again when kits are launched for the 2026/27 campaign. The Reds' playing shirts for next term may be made by the same manufacturer, but they will sport a new front-of-shirt sponsor. As confirmed by City in January, Victorian Plumbing will replace Fever in the centre of the Robins' kits, with the online bathroom retailer set to become the club's new main sponsor.
